About Kat Korson

Hi, I'm Kat, Director at Red Eagle Tech, where we build bespoke software for small and medium businesses. In other words, we make the kind of tailored software solutions that used to feel out of reach unless you were a large enterprise, accessible to businesses of all sizes. We are fully on board with agentic coding tools, and implementing these into our workflows has helped accelerate our mission: making custom software builds more accessible and affordable to SMEs than ever before.

My background covers marketing, operations, education, healthcare and business development, so I understand the challenges businesses face when exploring technology to help solve their pain points. I used my love of software engineering to solve problems I faced myself, until one day I teamed up with others who shared my mission to start solving problems for businesses too. Red Eagle Tech was born from that.

As a woman leading a software engineering team, I bring both the technical depth and the empathy-first approach that doesn't always come as a package deal in this industry, and that shapes how our whole team works with clients. We listen, we understand, and we work closely with you to build exactly what you need.

My other love in life is writing, which is why you'll find me here on the blog. I cover the intersection of business and technology, with a focus on practical automation strategies, digital transformation (sans jargon), and how SMEs can access tailored software they might believe is out of their reach. My aim is to help business leaders make confident tech decisions that give them the edge to get ahead in their field.
