In short: Red Eagle Tech is a UK technology consultancy offering managed WordPress hosting on Microsoft Azure. Four tiers - Essentials at £99/mo (shared platform, brochure sites), Business at £329/mo (dedicated infrastructure with WAF and staging), Professional at £1,295/mo (zone-redundant HA, 24/7 monitoring), Enterprise from £2,950/mo (bespoke, contact us). Buy Essentials, Business or Professional online in GBP + VAT via Stripe; Enterprise scoped per engagement. UK data centre, UK support hours, no lock-in - your domain stays in your own name, cancel any time from your dashboard.

What we do differently

Managed WordPress hosting, built by consultants who host - not by hosters trying to look like consultants.

UK-native at every tier

GBP + VAT-inclusive invoicing from a UK-registered Ltd company. UK data centre. UK support hours. Kinsta and WP Engine bill in USD - we don't. Your finance team will thank you.

Architected, not spun up

Every site is verified before you receive credentials. Proper caching, security headers, backup schedule, monitoring - configured by consultants, not a vending machine. 24 hours for Essentials, 48 for higher tiers.

Your domain, your data, your exit

Bring your own domain, or we register one in your own name at cost. Cancel one click from your Stripe portal. Full backup export on demand. No exit fees, no retention calls.

What happens after you buy

Every deployment is verified by a human before you receive credentials. Here's the full sequence, so there are no surprises.

1

You buy from the pricing table above

Stripe Checkout, GBP + VAT, one-page form. Monthly or annual - your choice.

2

You fill in a short intake form

Domain, business name, admin email, whether you're migrating from another host, any WooCommerce specifics. Your activation SLA clock starts when you submit this form.

3

We provision and verify your site

WordPress deployed, caching configured, security headers set, backup schedule initialised, monitoring enabled, staging spun up (Business tier and above). 24 hours Essentials; 48 hours Business or Professional.

4

We email your credentials and your site is live

WordPress admin URL, admin login, control-panel access, support-channel invite. You take it from there.

Why not instant? "Instant provisioning" skips the bits that matter - caching, WAF tuning, backup policy, monitoring. We build the platform properly the first time, so you don't discover things missing three months in.

Where your data lives, and what we do with it

Managed WordPress means managed security. Here's the specific stack.

Where your data lives

  • Azure UK data centre by default
  • UK Ltd company, UK-entity invoicing
  • Data Processing Addendum (DPA) available on request
  • No cross-border data transfers by default
  • Full backup export on demand + cancel any time

What we do to keep it safe

  • Automated WordPress core and plugin patching
  • Managed WAF and bot protection (Azure Front Door Premium from Business tier)
  • Daily automated backups with tier-appropriate retention
  • Malware scanning and Microsoft Defender for Cloud (Professional and Enterprise)
  • 24/7 monitoring (Professional and Enterprise)
  • Azure Key Vault for secrets - no hard-coded credentials
  • Private-endpoint MySQL - database not publicly reachable

WooCommerce ready

Yes, tested for WooCommerce - from the Business tier upward.

Redis object cache

Cart and session data don't hit the database on every request. Faster page loads, less load, happier customers.

PHP workers scaled for cart

No thread starvation during peak-hour checkouts. Business and Professional tiers sized for real WooCommerce load.

Cache exclusions configured

/cart, /checkout, /my-account and /wc-api never served from cache. Orders never go missing to a stale response.

Typical store-size guidance

  • Business tier (£329/mo) - typical WooCommerce stores handling ~5,000 orders/month
  • Professional tier (£1,295/mo) - ~50,000 orders/month plus promotional peaks
  • Enterprise (from £2,950/mo) - larger stores, multi-store setups or bespoke transactional workloads

You keep your domain

Your domain is a core business asset - it should stay under your direct control at a registrar you own the account at, not tangled up in your hosting relationship.

Our managed WordPress hosting works with domains you already have - at Nominet, 123-Reg, Namecheap, Cloudflare, or any registrar you prefer. We'll help you point DNS, issue SSL certificates, and verify ownership - then step back.

If you'd rather we handled the initial registration for you, we can - but we'll always register the domain in your legal name as the owner-of-record, hand you the account credentials, and never charge to transfer it away. We don't use domain ownership as lock-in. Your domain is yours, full stop.

Recommended registrars

  • 123-Reg - UK all-purpose, good for .co.uk and .uk
  • Cloudflare Registrar - technical, at-cost pricing, no markup
  • Nominet-direct - for buyers who want maximum sovereignty over .uk names

No lock-in. No exit fees. No retention calls.

Cancellation should be as easy as sign-up. Here's the whole policy.

Monthly cancel-anytime

One click from your Stripe Customer Portal. Your subscription cancels at the end of the current billing period - you're never cut off mid-cycle.

30-day money-back guarantee

On your first month if we're not the right fit. No small print. If it's not working for you, you get your money back.

Full backup export on demand

WordPress files + MySQL database, downloadable ZIP. Take everything with you. No hostage-taking of your content.

No fees, no notice, no retention

No exit fees. No notice period. No retention calls to talk you out of leaving. Take your backup and move on whenever it makes sense.

Trusted by UK businesses

Independent proof plus technology credibility. The specifics that matter.

Frequently asked questions

Essentials is a shared platform for brochure and marketing sites; Business gets dedicated infrastructure with WAF and staging; Professional adds zone-redundant high availability and 24/7 monitoring; Enterprise is bespoke.

See the capacity comparison table above for exact allowances at each tier - visits per month, storage, backup retention, RTO/RPO and SLA. In short: Essentials fits sites up to ~25,000 visits/month; Business is right for typical corporate marketing sites at ~100,000/month; Professional is for business-critical or transactional sites at ~500,000/month; Enterprise is scoped per engagement for anything bigger, multi-region, or with strict security requirements.

Yes. Free migration is included at every tier - we handle it as part of the 24-48 hour activation window.

We'll coordinate the DNS and SSL cutover, verify the migrated site is behaving properly on our infrastructure, and cut over at a time that works for you. Nothing goes live for you until we've signed it off - no silent breakage. Migrations don't cost extra and don't add lock-in.

We'll email you before you hit the ceiling and open a conversation about upgrading. We prefer to talk about upgrades before making billing changes to your account.

Our tiers are sized for typical usage patterns - Essentials for ~25k visits/month, Business for ~100k, Professional for ~500k. If you're consistently pushing the ceiling, you'll get more headroom (and better economics) on the next tier up. If it's a one-off spike, we won't move you upmarket for no reason. Storage overage works the same way. Automated overage billing might land in a later release; for now, we prefer to talk to you first.

Yes to both. Upgrade any time - the change is immediate and prorated. Downgrade at the end of your billing period.

Your data doesn't move when you upgrade; we just widen the pipe underneath. Downgrades are always end-of-period so we don't cut you off mid-billing-cycle. All of this is manageable one click from your Stripe Customer Portal.

Yes - from the Business tier upward. WooCommerce is bundled inside standard tiers rather than being a separate product.

Business and Professional tiers include Redis object cache (so cart and session data don't hammer the database on every request), PHP workers scaled for cart and checkout throughput, and cache exclusions correctly configured on /cart, /checkout, /my-account and /wc-api so orders never go missing to a stale cache. Business tier fits typical stores handling ~5,000 orders/month; Professional handles ~50,000 orders/month plus promotional peaks; Enterprise is for larger or multi-store setups.

In Azure's UK data centre. Red Eagle Tech is a UK Ltd company, invoicing from a UK entity, with a Data Processing Addendum (DPA) available on request.

Your data stays in the United Kingdom by default - we don't route it through non-UK data centres. If UK data residency matters for GDPR or procurement reasons, we can confirm that in writing during onboarding. Backup redundancy varies by tier - Professional and Enterprise include geo-redundant backup as standard.

Yes, always. Your domain stays under your own control at whichever registrar you choose - we don't use domain ownership as a lock-in mechanism.

We recommend bringing your own domain (BYO) from a specialist registrar - 123-Reg, Cloudflare Registrar and Nominet-direct are all solid choices. If you'd rather we register a new domain for you, we can - but we'll always register it in your legal name as the owner-of-record, hand you the account credentials, and never charge to transfer it away. See the "You keep your domain" section above for the full policy.

One click from your Stripe Customer Portal. Full backup export on demand. No exit fees, no notice period, no retention calls.

Your subscription cancels at the end of the current billing period so you're never cut off mid-cycle. Before you leave, you can download a full backup (WordPress files plus MySQL database, ZIP format) so you can move to another host or self-host without losing anything. Sign in to the customer billing portal with the email you used at checkout.
