Pros:Working at Red Eagle Tech is awesome. The work culture is exceptional, built on autonomy and trust that is genuinely practiced, not just preached on some slide deck. As a CTO, it's incredibly refreshing to be in an engineering-led company where management has a deep, nuanced understanding of the technical challenges and opportunities we face. This allows us to be strategic and innovative without endless battles to justify sound engineering principles and investment in doing things the right way. The products we're building are genuinely cutting-edge, providing a stimulating environment where you're constantly learning and pushing boundaries. Kat, our Director, is a phenomenal leader. She strikes the perfect balance between being friendly and approachable while maintaining a high level of professionalism. She invests significant time in getting to know her team on an individual level, which fosters a strong sense of loyalty and collaboration. The benefits package is also a major plus. The pension scheme is robust, and the commitment to continuous learning through extensive training resources and top-tier software licenses is a clear indicator of how much the company invests in its people. Being provided with a high-spec ThinkPad from day one is great too - they value providing their team with the best tools for the job. Cons:Not much. We have the usual challenges of any remote-first environment, but it's purely a result of the work model, not a cultural failing. Actually the leadership does make the time to bring in the social and fun elements into our work, and the day-to-day working environment is very informal. We're encouraged to be ourselves which is great and makes up for the remote working model. Advice to Management:Simple - keep doing what you're doing!

Pros:- I have been working here for almost a year on a part-time basis, and it has been a genuinely positive experience - I joined with no prior industry experience, and the team helped me create a personalised learning plan, offering guidance and feedback whenever needed - Communication is open and approachable, and I always felt comfortable asking questions or seeking support - The flexibility of remote working is a considerable advantage Cons:- We occasionally had evening calls due to scheduling or project requirements. This didn’t happen often and was usually understandable, but at times it was slightly inconvenient

Advice to Management:Adding more structure around requirements or project planning could help streamline development. The supportive culture is a big strength—continuing to invest in communication and growth will make it even better.
